Ben Horne

Ben Horne grew up and went to school in Caterham until he moved to Edinburgh for university. After studying and working in Scotland for nearly 10 years he returned to Tandridge and has been living and working here since 2018. Buying his first home in the district this year Ben is keenly aware of the pitfalls and shortcomings of Tandridge's housing, and is enthusiastic about getting stuck into housing policy at the district council level. A lover and supporter of Tandridge's green spaces Ben will also make sure that our much valued Green Belt is always at the forefront of district council planning.

Ben is also very invested in the health of the district's finances. Working in International Business Ben is determined to bring his experience of good value for money and common-sense approach to spending, to make sure that all of Tandridge's residents are getting the best levels of service provision, and to take the party-political decisions out and put the straight talking in when it comes to our council."
